Finding peace in chaos

Marie-Anne Oswald - Maho Hypnose

Waking up naturally, opening the window and receiving the sunshine on my skin, breathing the summer air and listening to the birds.

Observing the light particles floating in the air from my bed.

Taking the time to do a short yoga session followed by a 10-minute morning breathwork.

Enjoying the quietness of the morning, visualizing the positive things that will happen, being grateful for the loving and supportive people in my life.

Taking a moment to truly enjoy the unexpected peacefulness and being thankful for the coming back of the awareness.

It is easy to feel good when everything around you is going well. It is an all other story when the external world feels chaotic, uncertain and triggers fear and anxiety.

What helps the most in navigating smoothly the waves of life ? Routine. Daily habits that become so anchored in your body and mind that they feel as mandatory as taking a shower or brushing your teeth.

Since I started my world’s travel in 2015, I have never missed one day of yoga practice. Of course, I adapt the practice to the time and space I have, but even if I’m on a rush or 9 month pregnant, I always force myself to do couple of poses that will help me feel better.

The “forcing” part lasts a fraction of second as I know that no matter what, I’ll feel better after creating conscious movement into my body.

Find your daily practice, make a commitment to yourself and enjoy the magic  diffusing in your body and mind along the days
